St. Andrew's World School
A two-month pilot that started with hesitation… and ended with clarity, insight, and belief in AI-driven learning.
The Challenge
St. Andrew's World School, Indirapuram (ICSE), a leading institution covering classes 6th to 10th, faced a common dilemma: their teachers were stretched thin across multiple responsibilities:
- •Creating quality worksheets aligned to ICSE standards
- •Finding high-quality case studies and application-based questions
- •Manually checking hundreds of copies
- •Making sense of class-level trends and patterns
- •Giving students individual feedback
When we first met the Principal, her concern was simple but honest: "Will teachers actually use this? Will this fit into their workflow?"
Past experiences with EdTech tools had shown resistance from teachers overwhelmed by complex interfaces and additional workload. Introducing another platform—no matter how useful—naturally brought hesitation.
Additionally, finding high-quality ICSE-specific content—especially case studies and application-based questions—was proving increasingly difficult. This was a real and timely gap.
Our Approach: Meeting Teachers Where They Are
Rather than expecting teachers to learn a new tool from day one, we chose a hybrid roll-out. We didn't ask teachers to adapt to the system. We adapted the system to the teachers.
The Simple WhatsApp Workflow
- 1Teachers sent worksheet/exam requirements via WhatsApp
- 2Chanakya team generated high-quality ICSE worksheets using the platform
- 3Teachers verified the questions
- 4We printed and delivered the worksheets
- 5Students attempted them offline
- 6Sheets were collected, scanned, and uploaded
- 7Chanakya AI graded every copy
- 8Deep class-level + student-level insights were generated

What The Data Showed
Real Insights from 2 Months
Class 6A Mathematics
Average score: 80%. Students excelled in ratio simplification (Q1, Q2, Q8, Q10) but struggled with mean proportional
Class 8A Chemistry
Average score: 60%. Excellent factual recall with 95% MCQ accuracy, but serious gaps in conceptual understanding
Class 6 History
Average score: 64%. Strong on factual recall, weak on conceptual reasoning
What Teachers Say
By the end of the pilot, the hesitation had transformed into appreciation.
My overall experience reviewing Worksheet was positive. The worksheet showed strong thoughtfulness in its design, especially with application-based question which encouraged real conceptual understanding. I also appreciate the clear and student-friendly language used throughout, which made the worksheet easy to follow.

The quality of the case studies and MCQ questions is really good. It is difficult to find good quality resources for the ICSE board, and this would be very useful.

What This Pilot Proved
Three big learnings emerged from this two-month journey:
Teachers don't resist technology—they resist complexity.
When the workflow was made simple and met them where they were, they actively participated and embraced the system.
Schools value clarity over automation.
The real success wasn't that Chanakya AI graded copies. It was that teachers finally saw class patterns, mistake trends, student-wise learning gaps, and actionable next steps.
ICSE schools struggle with high-quality, relevant content.
Chanakya filled a real and timely gap with case studies, application-based questions, and content aligned to board patterns.
